Jason Koffeman’s award-winning work spans film, advertising, music, live stage, and virtual reality.
Among his active work, he is currently developing a feature film on the life story of Stella Liebeck, who in 1994, a jury awarded 2.9 million dollars for injuries sustained from spilling McDonald’s hot coffee in her lap, making her one of the biggest flashpoints in legal and pop culture history. He is also developing a documentary series with Jason Bateman’s Aggregate Films about the largest public corruption in American history.
Formerly Jared Leto’s creative director, Jason has directed live television for the likes of Late Night with Stephen Colbert, the VMAs, and James Corden. He also showran the documentary, A Day in the Life of America for PBS overseeing 92 crews shooting simultaneously on one single day. He was also the co-founder of Moth + Flame VR where he continues to direct interactive pieces and has done so for nearly every branch of the military, Accenture, the National Urban League, Ram Trucks, Meta, and more.
His career began with a decade in film, where he served as a producer on the ‘Final Destination’ franchise and re-wrote and produced ‘Oddball,’ starring Succession’s Sarah Snook.
He’s a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and an amateur ceramicist.
